2 Factors for Choosing Your First Dildo

When you’re decided to buy your first dildo, you’re probably unsure how to begin. Look at any given sex toy retailer site that offers kinds of selection and you would be overwhelmed by the sheer number of dildos to choose from. Dildos that look like penises, rockets, or nothing at all. And of course then there are the factors of size and materials and affordability. After all, you don’t really want to spend more than $50 on your first dildo, since it cannot give you good experience both in size and materials. Here are some factors you need to concerned when you choose your first Dildo:

Size:

Choosing the size of your dildo should depend on what has already been in your vagina/ass. Think about your most pleasurable sexual experience (solo or partnered) and what felt so good ---- was it the sensation of fullness, being stretched by something larger? Take a look at a ruler. Actually look at how wide it is on the ruler. It probably doesn’t yet mean much, right? Now, measure something like dildo to get a good idea of how that linear width translates to circumference, but please don’t use them as a dildo. If you liked the feeling of fullness, then I’d suggest starting with a 1.5″ at the most.

Even though I explained much of how to choosing the size, but also remember there is no “right sized” dildo, only the size that’s right for you! Long or short, thick or thin, use whatever makes you go “Oh!”

Material:

For choosing material, if you’re going to take any advice it’s this: no jelly, no rubber, no PVC, or anything like that no guarantee after your bought it. They smell funny, not very well made, some of those even will have phthalates in them, and they’re porous so they can’t ever be shared or fully sanitized. Here will emphasize silicone. Why should you spend the money on silicone? In short, silicone can last a lifetime with minimal care; and easy to be completely clean. If you check out the difference between silicone and other material, you’ll be sure to have a silicone dildo that is actually, truly, pure silicone.

Silicone comes in various densities and can be somewhat soft, very firm, or squishy. After making sure that is safe, you can start to choose the one that you like it the most.

Tips when using Dildo:

For your silicone dildos, stick with water-based lube so you don’t ruin your toy. Remember, silicone will bond with silicone, and you’ll end up with a different shaped toy than you started with!
